Client group: anyone from South Manchester who approaches the Law Centre for advice. Some work specifically with Asian women.

Which client group will I be dealing with?
The general public, many of whom are asylum-seekers. Many clients are not fluent in English.
South Manchester Law Centre encourages volunteers who can speak other languages as well as English, especially African and Asian languages and Arabic.
How much time do I have to give? When will I be working?
Monday, Wednesday or Friday mornings 9.45am —1pm
Volunteers can also get involved in other aspects of law centre work, eg following caseworkers, but are firstly required to work on reception.
