Client group: elderly people of Afro-Caribbean descent living in Central/South Manchester and Trafford.

Volunteers required for:

  • Assistance in the day centre
  • Home visits
  • Befriending
  • Escorting clients to appointments
  • Sitting service
  • Shopping

Afro Caribbean Care Group needs people who:

  • Have caring skills
  • Are good communicators

How much time do I have to give? When will I be working?

The Day Centre is open Monday to Friday 9am - 4.30pm. Volunteers' hours are negotiable.
