Aim: To help advisers provide clients with the tools to negotiate with creditors.
By the end of the session you will be able to:
- Prioritise debts
- Help clients draw up a financial statement
- Utilise standard letters
- Help clients to identify options and choose a strategy for dealing with their debts
Level of expertise: Intermediate
Please note that this course will only cover the essential first steps of giving debt advice. If you require more detailed training, you may wish to book on our 6 day Basic Debt Advice course which we will be running in November 2006.
