Aim: To assist advisers in taking an appeal to the Commissioners


By the end of the session you should be able to:

  • Identify when tribunal decisions can be set aside
  • Identify the main "error in law" grounds for appealing to Commissioners
  • Describe the bureaucratic procedures and time limits
  • Weigh up the criteria you might use to decide whether or not to appeal to Commissioners

Level of expertise: Intermediate / Advanced

This is a course for advisers who have some experience of tribunal representation and are looking at taking their first appeal to the Commissioners.

This course is accredited with 4 ½ hours CPD
