If you've not been able to find somewhere to stay at night, there may be no other option than to sleep rough. Sleeping rough can be dangerous - there is a risk of being assaulted or robbed. If you find yourself in a situation where you have no other options but to sleep outside, you need to take steps to keep safe and warm.
There are organisations in Manchester that can help you if you are a rough sleeper. In particular, Lifeshare (external website) may be able to offer you help and advice.
Remember, even though you are sleeping rough, you still have rights to benefits, health care and housing.
