What is it for?
To pay for things it has been difficult to budget for because you have been living on benefits.
Do I need to be on benefits?
You may be able to get a Budgeting Loan if you or your partner have been getting Income Support, Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA) or Pension Credit for at least 26 weeks.
Do I have to pay it back?
Yes, but the loan is interest free.
