The Gateway

Gateway Manchester is a Partnership for Older Peoples Project (POPP) and is funded by the Department of Health. 

The Gateway was set up to provide a gateway to services and opportunities for older people, their carers and relatives, as well as volunteers and professionals who work with them.

By "older people " we mean those aged 50 years or over.

Our advisers provide information and support about many things including pension rights and benefits, help with transport, housing repairs, improving your social life, keeping safe and warm at home.

This site provides a single point of access to information about services and opportunities for older people in Manchester.

The Gateway is for older people and their carers, friends and relatives. But its also there to help the volunteers and professionals who work to support older people in the City.
